1. General information
The main objective of this subject is to analyse in a practical way the necessary conditions for the application of the life-long E-learning methodology in work teams and organizations. Thus, the peculiarity of this subject is its orientation towards life-long education in its three manifestations: formal, non-formal and informal education
. In the same way, all academic, professional and cultural fields are included, taking into account the specificity of the students. In other words, the manifestations of e-learning are addressed in all their breadth.
It is important that the student understands their role as a learning constructor as well as the interactive and active nature of the subject, in order to show a continuous and collaborative involvement during the teaching-learning process in its development. The subject will be taught virtually through the use of the Moodle Platform
.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with SDG 4 "Quality Education". The aim is to significantly increase the number of young people and adults who have the necessary skills, particularly technical and professional skills, to access employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. This will in turn significantly increase the supply of qualified teachers.
2. Learning results
-To summarise the main contributions made in e-learning.
-To understand the contributions of e-learning in the global and multicultural context according to the specificity of each student.
- To analyse curricular and training experiences and innovations, at any educational level and throughout
life, in virtual teaching-learning contexts.
-To identify the key elements in educational research proposals and processes based on e-learning.
-To identify the role and associated competencies of the actors involved (the learner and the teacher/educator) in learning in a virtual environment.
3. Syllabus
- Key concepts on e-learning.
- New teaching paradigms. From e-learning to m-learning: evolution towards u-learning.
- Methodologies and online tools.
- Research in e-learning.
4. Academic activities
The following training activities are proposed for the development of the subject:
- Directed work: students, individually or in teams, must apply the acquired competencies and reflect it in a document and/or presentation addressed to the faculty. The teacher will follow-up, tutorise and correct the works.
- Individual study: students, individually and autonomously, have to work on the contents of the subject to integrate and internalise the knowledge and skills related to it.
- Assessment tests: the activities to be evaluated will include the contrast and exchange of information online and the submission and oral presentation of the work prepared by the students.
5. Assessment system
Assessable activities carried out during formal teaching
The student must produce an individual work on a topic related to e-learning and whose object of study must be agreed with the teachers of the subject. The work will be defended before the faculty in a public face-to-face session or via videoconference.
Assessment criteria:
- Individual report 60% of the grade.
- Presentation and defence 20% of the grade.
- Participation in forums 20% of the grade.
Overall test
All students have the right to take an overall assessment test, which will consist of the defence of an individual work of the same characteristics as the one described above. Both its defence and delivery will take place on the date set in the academic calendar for the official ordinary call.
Second call
Students who have not obtained a grade higher than or equal to 5 points in the aforementioned tasks in the ordinary call must modify and correct all the items indicated by the teachers; or complete and submit them in those cases in which the grade is "not presented".
Fifth and sixth calls
The students of the 5th and 6th call will be assessed using the same method as that applied to the rest of the students. The board of examiners will be in charge of following up the assessment process.
Notice
It should be noted that the University of Zaragoza's Rules of Coexistence will apply to irregularities in the assessment tests through academic fraud, and article 30 of the Rules of Learning Assessment will also apply to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
